Stockport College is offering local employers a grant of up two thousand five pounds to take on an apprentice. So if you have a job vacancy why not consider taking on an apprentice instead? It's a great opportunity to give a young person a fantastic start to their career and a sensible way to grow your business. Stockport College is a major provider of training and a key regional and national centre for a range of specialist courses. Stockport Training for Business is the corporate arm of the College. It provides employers with a service tailored to their needs, offering bespoke solutions to employer specifications either locally, on your premises or in the College.
Whilst we provide a broad range of 'off the shelf' courses designed to cut across all industry sectors such as First Aid, Health & Safety and IT, we are also able to help more with specific areas like Leadership & Management, Care, and Apprenticeships.
